Business Aviation’s Fleet Forecast Highlights 2025-2034: North America

Information from Aviation Week Intelligence Network's (AWIN) 2025 Fleet & MRO Forecast reveals that the in-service business aviation fleet in North America is expected to climb from just over 23,300 aircraft in 2025 to more than 26,600 units at the end of 2034 – a 1.5% compound annual growth rate. The region accounts for the largest fleet presence in the world for business aviation, with a share of 66% throughout the forecast period.
Textron Aviation and Gulfstream are projected to be the most popular new deliveries into this region, worth $96.7 billion at retail rates, out of the $187.8 billion total. A sum of just over 8,100 units are forecast to be delivered during the 2025-34 period. MRO dollar demand for business aircraft will grow at a 3.2% annual rate, totalling $97.2 billion during the 10-year period. The demand for modifications alone in Europe represents a share of 32% of all maintenance work to be taking place.
