The doorbell rang … 9:52 a.m.

leopard

… the question is now.  Can I live without my computer long enough to install it today?  Or do I do the install overnight?

    ahhh … it’s possible 😉

perhaps … LightHusband is torn. We have hockey games this weekend and he does not want to mess up his computer when he’s going to have so many photos to process. Sooo … I may be the guinea pig.

Make sure you back up your disk, and do the “archive and install” rather than “upgrade”.

No, I just got my copy (and a free Apple T shirt). But whenever I do an OS upgrade, I always clone my disk first, just in case. And archive and install is a much better way to go with any OS–it creates a clean copy of the system, rather than upgrading bits and pieces of the older OS.
